Dr. Pengfei Wang received his B.S. degree from Jilin University and received his Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published over 50 papers in renowned international conferences and journals in the fields of data mining and artificial intelligence, including Cell Research, ACM SIGKDD, IJCAI, WWW, IEEE ICDM, AIJ, IEEE TKDE, and ACM TWEB. He is a PC member for some top academic conferences such as KDD, NeurIPS, ICLR, WWW, IJCAI, and AAAI.
Dr. Pengfei Wang has broad interests in data mining and machine learning, especially in Spatial-Temporal Graph Data Mining, Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models (LLM), and AI for Science (AI4S). Most of the methods are motivated by real-world applications, such as flow predictions and behavior analysis.
The research group works closely with esteemed professors from both domestic and international institutions, such as Arizona State University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Portland State University, the University of Kansas, the University of Macau, Tsinghua University, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Students can be recommended for advanced studies.
The group maintains strong collaborations with research teams from leading internet companies, including Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and Meituan, offering recommendations for outstanding individuals seeking internships or full-time positions.
